Our Production Company
As a group we have decided that our production company will be mainstream. The reason why we have chosen this over becoming independent is for multiple reasons. One of the main reasons being that mainstream films targets the mass audience. The key focus for a of a mainstream film is to entertain and that is what we would like to do with our film. With the big budget it provides it'll enable us to bring our film to its full potential. it'll allow us to use the latest technology available like 4K filming and conversion to IMAX, will allow us to obtain A list cast, major studios will likely be involved with our film e.g. Disney, Universal studios. it will allow us to film in expensive locations.
However, their were a few aspects of an independent company that we liked the sound of. for example that their is a message to the film and how they don't make the film just to please people. we liked the way their films are usually gritty and show the worlds imperfection, how they don't make their film to please people. In the end we decided not to do this though. this is mainly do to its low production budget as it would limit the potential of our film.
